Phase 1

The Sacrament must be used in a certain way in order to have optimal effects. Over time, we have refined a ritual method to maximize the benefit for the individual. While this has been done in an improvised manner in the past, the ideal is to develop a location specifically for this purpose.

The key sacrament to our belief system is a primal enhancer, and works best in nature. The further one can be from outside distractions, the better. The more immersed in the natural environment, both during the journey and during recovery, the better.

To that end, I have purchased a plot of land in the Ozarks for the location of our Temple and lodging. What it needs now is development to suit our purposes.

The perfect answer is a central Temple, large enough to accommodate 10 people. The initiation ritual works well in groups up to 10, and with beginners it is often comforting to be in a group setting to start with. Once an initiate feels comfortable with the Sacrament, usually around hour 2, they usually like to be alone. It helps achieve a deeper journey into the spirit realm. Connecting with the Gods is a very personal experience.

This is easily ( and cheaply) attainable by the use of yurts, modern circular semi permanent tents. A large central yurt provides the temple space, with smaller individual pods branching off like spokes, that also double as lodging. This affords a central location initially, individual space after, while still allowing the Priest easy over watch.

Lodging is critical for the after effect. One of the key differences between ritual use of psilocybin and clinic, is we recognize the need for recovery. The Sacrament continues to work, in a lower gear, for about 72 hours. Keeping initiates free from outside distraction for that 72 hours amplifies the positive lasting effect of the journey.

Veterans are our primary focus, and they bring to the table added complications. I know, from my own experience, most Veterans will not spend a dime on themselves for something like this. After it is done, they will universally agree they would have. But they will not do so up front. They also will generallynot leave the country, no matter how dark their life. Suffering the after effects of war, going to Mexico in sketchy conditions sounds like a horrible idea. This must be done in the United States, no passport required, to be effective. So our program for initiates has to be both free, and easily accessible.

The build out to accommodate 10 initiates is around $360,000. The burn rate to take care of 20 Veterans per month is around $60,000. Our initial funding goal is a complete build out and 6 months of operating capital, $720,000.

Any amount you can contribute is appreciated, and will help turn this tide of slow genocide.
